According to legend, in the late Yuan and early Ming dynasties, wars were frequent in Liuyang, and the people suffered a lot. The ordinary people hid in the deep mountains, put the rice and vegetables in the rice retort and cooked them together. There was no cooking smoke or whereabouts.
There have been several large population migrations in the history of Liuyang. Hakkas from Guangdong migrated to the Dawei Mountain area. On January 27, 2015, Zhengliuji was born in the “Hometown of Steamed Vegetables in China”. Zhengliuji is a standard model brand for steamed vegetables in Liuyang. It is also the president unit of Liuyang Steamed Food Industry Association. It is committed to building the first brand of Chinese fast food, using healthy steamed food to meet the fast food needs of exquisite people who pursue life. The company has built the largest and most modernized central kitchen in Liuyang's steamed food industry in Liuyang Economic Development Zone, with a production workshop area of over 3,000 square meters and self-built cold chain logistics. In April 2020, the Puji Town Government of Liuyang City and the company signed an agreement to jointly build the “Liuyang Steamed Food Cultural Industrial Park”. The project invests about Rmb200mn and covers an area of 126 acres.
In the field of Chinese fast food, Zhengliuji pioneered the “ready-made standardization” and built a unique catering supply chain model of “100% dishes, fresh food, cold chain, daily serving, and shop” that is leading the fast food industry.
