Internationalized Exhibition Expands Investment and Cooperation Opportunities

Mr. Ip Sio Kai, President of the Macau Innovation Investment Union Association, commented that last year's "Innovation-driven Investment and Financing Project Matching" organized in collaboration with IPIM received strong support from local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), facilitating more than 80 business matching talks, which reflected the proactive transformation, upgrades, and innovative entrepreneurship of local SMEs in response to the development needs in the new era.

This year, the Association will organize its enterprise members in technological innovation and big health, as well as industries that are interested in investing in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin to participate in the "Modern Finance Matching Session." Mr. Yip expects that the wider global reach of this year's exhibitions will further facilitate investment project exploration for attendees, thus fostering more cooperation.

Introduce Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to the Wider World

The leader of a Macao TCM and big health company stated that four partnership agreements were forged last year when the company attended the exhibition for the first time. One of their projects on new Chinese patent drugs in collaboration with a pharmaceutical company in Huazhou, Guangdong is progressing smoothly. This year, the company will continue to participate in the exhibition, aiming to expand its presence in the big health market in Portuguese-speaking countries and Southeast Asia.

Expand Business Opportunities for the Tourism & MICE industry in Macao and Zhuhai

A representative of a MICE institution in Zhuhai pointed out that, through the business matching services provided during the exhibition last year, they signed a cooperation MoU with the Macau Hotel Association to jointly boost the development of the MICE and tourism industry in both Zhuhai and Macao. The institution will organize over 50 enterprise members from the MICE, hotel, and tourism industries to participate in this year’s exhibitions. They aim to further explore cooperation opportunities for Macao and Zhuhai.
