The fairy and muscular man are the signature representatives of “TongIec pakfafui”, a century-old shop that spans nearly a century, and is accompanied by the growth of Macau people.
“Tongyi Baihuakui” was founded in 1903 by Li Jin, Li Qizhao and Chen Qianxian in Xinhui, Jiangmen, Guangdong. It moved to Macau in 1918. It initially set up a factory in Shalitou and set up a store on the fifth street in October to produce and sell various products, mainly styled fruits and sauces. Currently managed by the fourth generation Lu Weiwen, the factory is located in Xinhui, Guangdong, and the product packaging design and flavor blending are more catering to the preferences of the younger generation. Traditional products integrate modern health concepts, combining traditional techniques with modern technology.
“TongIec” means "benefit for everyone", and “pakfafui” means “the first of a hundred flowers and fruits”. The preserved fruits and sauces produced by “Tongyi Baihuakui” are secretly made using ancestral methods and selected high-quality natural materials. They have been passed down for centuries and are well-known in Hong Kong, Macau and Southeast Asia. Its specialty products include: flat peach fruit, first light soy sauce, diced sweet vinegar and other signature products are well-known in Macau, and are popular with tourists because of their Macau characteristics.
A hundred years of inheritance saw the growth of the preserved fruits family. Generations of customers have witnessed the development of “Tongyi Baihuakui”, and grew with it as well, and it continues to develop from generation to generation.
